NMU Hard: The goal of
this image was to create the effect of spray painted lettering/logo on a
sheet of treaded metal. The programs used to create this image were
PaintShop Pro 7, Microsoft Word, and MS-Paint. Because the background
texture was not seamless, the effect is only moderately achieved. |
 |
TheGreatOrangePeel Logo:
This image makes heavy use of beveling to create it's effect. The programs
used to create it were PaintShop Pro 6 and MS-Paint. Because the center of
the image was filled with the texture before beveling, the veins of the
organic element don't line up and leave black edges along the curves of
the center most element. |
 |
ASCII Rose: The
intent of this image was to incorporate text with other elements in such a
way as so the text was not to distract from the image as a whole. It was
created using Adobe Photoshop 7, artSCII, and MS-Paint. Nothing wrong from
a technical aspect, but some elements are considered to be too pronounced. |

Shelf Mushrooms:
Practicing the basic implementation of textures in a three dimensional
environment and creating two dimensional images from a 3D environment was
the intent of this image. The image used to create the texture for the
bark was too small and resulted in a sort of pixilation. It was created using ArtOfIllusion for the 3D
work and Adobe Photoshop 7 and MS-Paint for the textures. |
